Ieuan is a Welsh/Australian who has been in practice since 1988. He graduated with honours from Queensland University of Technology. Since then he has completed further studies for registration in the United Kingdom, Ocular Therapeutics and Orthokeratology as well as extensive ongoing education and Behavioural and Developmental Optometry. He joined Buck and Todd Optometrists in September 1989 following locum work throughout South Australia and Queensland. Ieuan has a special interest in Specialty Contact Lens fitting, (keratoconus, scarred corneas, children’s aphakia), Orthokeratology, Children’s Vision, Reading Difficulties and Dyslexia. Ieuan is married and has four children. He enjoys travelling with his family and loves any opportunity to share a dad joke.

Originally from Brisbane, I attended James Cook University and completed my Masters in Business administration and subsequently optometry degree at QUT in Brisbane. My interests include cycling, swimming, yoga and spending time with my family.

Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s of Vision science, Masters of Optometry, and Masters in Business Administration and International tourism management.

Ms Liz has worked in the optical industry for over 12 years, with the most recent years dedicated to Vision Therapy here at Buck and Todd. Liz really enjoys helping patients (young and older) to improve their ability to use their eyes, body, and brain together as a team and achieve their visual processing goals as well as learning all the different ways in which it is possible to do so. Liz married in 2023 after multiple postponements over the years and really loves and enjoys spending down time with her children, family and friends.

Tracey has been with the Buck & Todd team since 2018.  Tracey can assist you with accounts, pre-testing patients, dispensing needs, frame selection, and lens choices.  Tracey likes to spend her down time with her family (generally babysitting one or all 7 of the grandchildren).

Shania is our full-time clinical assistant, receptionist and more. Shania has had over 2 years’ experience in optics and has added many feathers to her cap in her time at Buck and Todd. Shania can assist patients with pre-testing, advanced scanning, contact lens insertion, colourimetry testing, administers IPL during treatment sessions, glasses section and dispensing and more! When Shania isn’t bringing sunshine to the practice, she has her nose stuck in a book or she is spending time with friends, family or her cat Gatsby.

Callum is our full time optical assistant who can help with all your optical dispensing needs and prides himself on frame selection. With over 5 years experience in the optical industry, Callum’s expert knowledge is invaluable to our team. Callum can also be found working our reception desk.
